Below is an outline for the Melbourne Mindfulness & Yin Yoga Teacher Training (200hr).

We've also emailed you a copy, and we'll be in touch as dates and location are confirmed.

This is aΒ supportive and transformational Yoga Teacher Training designed for those longing to slow down, reconnect, and learn how to share yoga in a grounded, intentional and energetically intelligent way. This program weaves together ancient wisdom traditions with modern understandings of human wellbeing β€” delivered entirely in person, in Melbourne.

Program Structure

A six-month, in-person journey held over one intensive opening block followed by monthly training weekends β€” giving you time to learn, integrate and embody the practice between sessions.

Opening Training Block β€” June/July 2027

A three-day immersion, Friday to Sunday, to set the foundations of the training: practice, connection, embodiment and community. Held in person in Melbourne. (Dates & venue TBA)

Monthly Training Weekends β€” x 5

Following the opening block, training continues with one weekend per month (Saturday & Sunday, 8am–5pm) across five months. Each weekend deepens your practice, philosophy and teaching skills. Held in person in Melbourne. (Dates & venue TBA)

Your Training Day Rhythm

  • Morning practice
  • Morning training session
  • Lunch & integration space
  • Afternoon training session
  • Closing practice & reflection

The rhythm may vary on selected days to make space for posture clinics, teaching practice and community connection intentionally woven into the journey.

At-Home Study & Practice Components

  • Required reading β€” a yoga philosophy book (hardcopy posted to you) with chapter review questions for completion by the end of the program.
  • Access to guided Yin Yoga and meditation practice recordings to begin building your 50-hour personal practice log.
  • A class observation template to journal after each class you attend under the instruction of a teacher.

Β

Certification

Upon successful completion of all course requirements, graduates receive a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification aligned with Yoga Alliance standards.
