You don't have to be flexible or at a certain level of fitness to join this training program.
You just need to have a willingness to learn more, have an open mind and heart, and a Knowing that this feels right for you.
You will be well-cared for and supported to work within the limits of any pre-existing injuries, ailments and fitness levels.

Asana - Physical Postures
Learn how to design and teach a 1hr Yoga class including an analysis of each pose: their intention, correct alignment, how to use them to plan a class, and variations.
Pranayama & Energetic Anatomy
Learn about the energy body and how pranayama, bandhas, mudras, and other yogic techniques can be used to regulate and transform energy.
Meditation
We’ll look at exactly what meditation is in the context of cultivating mindfulness and introspection, and how it leads to self-realisation. Understand savasana and learn simple and effective meditation techniques for instruction and self-practice.
Anatomy & Physiology
Learn the principles of human systems as applied to the instruction of yoga, and how to keep you and your students practicing safely, with compassion.
History & Philosophy
Learn about the history and evolution of yoga, as an ancient wisdom tradition and system for promotion of self-realisation and wellbeing, with a key focus on the Koshas and 8 Limbs of Yoga. You’ll also discover the main paths of yoga, and the many styles have branched from these paths.
Mindfulness
Discover how to effectively dialogue mindfulness philosophy throughout your classes, and deepen your own direct experience of mindfulness to bring great benefit to your life.
Trauma-Informed Yoga
Learn facilitation techniques for creating a safe, inclusive, trauma-informed yoga space.
Teaching Methodology & Communication
Gain competency in setting up, effectively cueing and holding space for individual yoga students and groups, following a balanced class plan. Understand your scope of practice in establishing a professional relationship with participants, peers and other professionals
Business of Yoga
With an increasing focus on resilience, health and wellbeing in modern society, yoga is an wonderful industry to be getting into. Learn how to build a profile, grow a community, and remain ethical and profitable as a yoga teacher, as well as understanding the main business, technical and legal requirements for running yoga offerrings.
Ayurveda, Pre & Post Natal and Yin Yoga
Participate in a broad range of included, specialised yoga styles and areas of study, to deepen your understanding of the varying approaches to yoga and how it can cater for a variety of student needs.
Yoga Class Log & Observations, Book Review & Practice Teaching
Develop your regular personal yoga practice under the guidance of qualified yoga teachers, reflecting on your practice and the teachings offered. Read a provided course text book and answer chapter review questions. Toward the end of the program, once skills and confidence have grown, you’ll practice teach yoga classes to your chosen community.

Yoga for Mental Health (& Trauma-Informed Yoga)
Sabine joins us for a very important introduction to what it means to operate in a trauma-informed way as a yoga teacher. Sabine will help deepen your understanding of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system, and why yoga can activate both. Sabine will also offer insights into the positive impact of yoga, mindfulness and meditation and mindfulness on psychological functioning and emotional wellbeing and will share some very practical strategies to support you as a teacher.

Ellie is an exceptional physiotherapist with over 15-years experience. The fact that she's also a qualified Yoga and Pilates teacher means that she's able to tailor her teachings specifically to yoga poses and the way we move in our asana practice. She also specialises in women’s health and pelvic floor rehab.
