Do you feel called to experience yoga beyond the drop-in class?

Would you like to study and practice yoga—beyond just the physical postures (asanas) and breath techniques (pranayama)—as a comprehensive spiritual discipline?

If you’re ready for the next-level of inner commitment—supported by a teacher and community on the same path—Sadhana is for you.

Sādhanā (from Sanskrit sādh, “to accomplish”): Committed and disciplined practice and study for spiritual growth and self-realisation.

What's Included:

Monthly Half-Day Yoga & Meditation Retreats

January - November.
These 4-hour mornings are a turboboost for your personal practice, and a longer experience of silence, yoga and meditation techniques, and an opportunity to connect with your Sādhanā community.

In-person (Currimundi, Sunshine Coast) or live stream on a Sat or Sun, once a month (dates announced soon). Also available via recording to retreat in your own time.

Quarterly Online Book Club

Deepen your understanding of yoga, meditation, and the inner journey through guided study of the Bhagavad Gita, The Science of Pranayama, Light on Yoga, and Mindfulness in Plain English.

Every three months, we gather online for a live video call to explore key teachings, share interpretations, and discuss how these texts relate to your own inner experiences on (and off) the mat.

Weekly Yoga Class

Stay connected to your practice rhythm by attending Erin's weekly Wed 9:30–10:45am class in person (WindanSea Currimundi, Sunshine Coast), or receiving the full audio recording each week to practise anytime from home.

These weekly touchpoints help you maintain momentum, rekindle motivation, and experience steady, embodied progress between the longer monthly immersions.

Yoga Video & Audio Library

A growing library of recorded yoga classes to support your home practice between our weekly sessions and monthly immersions.

Each video is released in sequence with our year-long journey through the Koshas—the layers of the self.

Meditation Audio Library

Guided meditation audios to support a consistent home practice—whether used alongside your online asana and pranayama sessions or as stand-alone meditations.

Each practice is released to complement our journey through the Koshas.

Online Community

A warm, supportive community for Book Club gatherings, reflections & inspirations, and staying connected and accountable.

This is where the year-long journey stays alive between structured sessions.

"I have always felt like I was somehow doing it all wrong when it comes to yoga. Turns out I just needed to find Erin! She has this way of explaining things that brings so much clarity and makes mindfulness and yoga accessible even for those of us who are not bendy little pretzels."

Michelle

The Way:

1. Direct Experience

...of the practices and techniques.

It’s one thing to read or hear a teaching—it’s another thing entirely to experience it.

Direct experience is the heart of yoga and meditation. When you consistently practice the techniques, the teachings become living truths within you.

Familiarising yourself with the nature of your mind, you bear witness to patterns, habits—and your potential. This clarity ("clear-seeing") is wisdom.

2. Self-Study

…through ancient texts and modern transmissions that will illuminate your path.

Self-study (svādhyāya) is the bridge between what you experience and what it means.

As you explore classical yoga and meditation texts—paired with accessible contemporary teachings—you gain language, context, and guidance for your inner journey.

You begin to understand the layers of your being, the principles of practice, and the stages of unfolding that accompany sincere spiritual work and support long-term inner growth.

3. Community

…a supportive, like-hearted group walking the path with you.

While the journey is personal, it’s far easier when shared.

In community, your motivation grows, discipline strengthens, and compassion expands. You feel supported through both the challenges and the blissful realisations.

This community will help you continue to show up for the practice. Not for perfection—instead wholeheartedness.

The Form:

Throughout the year, we move systematically through the Koshas—the five layers of our being described in the yoga tradition. Each Kosha offers a different doorway into understanding yourself, from the physical body to the breath and energy body, the mind, the wisdom body, and finally the deepest layer of peaceful and presence.

All contact points and online practices focus on a layer for approximately two months exploring each layer. This allows enough time for practice, reflection, and direct experience to unfold naturally, and a holistic understanding of how each layer contributes to a more integrated, awake and relaxed way of living.

"Erin is such a warm and compassionate teacher who instills so much wisdom into her classes and courses. She holds space for others to connect with themselves and to discover the depth and expansiveness of yoga. Grateful to Erin for her flexibility and willingness to support folks to move at their own pace. "

Hi, I'm Erin Lee

Your Year-Long Sādhanā Guide

  • Founder & Lead Trainer, The Mindful Yoga School
  • Author, The Little Book of Big Intentions
  • Devoted Yoga & Meditation Student

As a yoga and meditation student of almost thirty years now, I know what it's like to ebb and flow with practicing.

While it's fine to accept inconsistency, it's very clear that when we devote ourselves more consistently to the practice and study of yoga and meditation, there is enormous benefit.

Over the years, I’ve seen again and again that when students are held within a supportive structure—true to the ancient teachings of these practices—and are surrounded by others walking a similar path, their practice deepens in ways they couldn’t access alone.

Discipline becomes devotion.
Curiosity becomes insight.
Effort transforms into ease.

This is why I created Sādhanā: to offer a year of dedicated, embodied practice, consistent guidance, and a community that encourages you to keep showing up.

If you’re ready to explore your inner landscape with sincerity, steadiness, and support, I’d be honoured to welcome you—and walk alongside you.

"Thank you Erin for assisting me to get back into practicing yoga daily to focus on me and the life I wish for."
