Did you know...

40 - 50% of the population experiences a diagnosable mental health condition in their lifetime.*

It's estimated that 50–70% of yoga students practice yoga specifically for stress reduction, relaxation, or mental wellbeing.*

Yoga offers powerful, time-tested practices designed to support mental health and holistic wellbeing.

Yet knowing how to share yogic practices in a safe, skilful, and trauma-informed way makes all the difference to the experience of your students/clients.

Practical tools for both yoga and clinical settings

The course is designed for yoga teachers, students, and those working in the human services field. It offers practical tools to support emotional wellbeing — whether you’re holding space on the mat, or in a clinical setting. In your role, you are often on the front line of mental health, with a meaningful opportunity to support the wellbeing of others.

You don’t need to be a mental health practitioner to play an important role in mental health support.

How YOU show up and hold space as a facilitator is just as important—if not more so—than the practices themselves.

Maybe you're a yoga student ready to deepen your understanding of the links between yoga and mental health.

This online course is also suitable for you.

Together, they bridge ancient yogic wisdom with modern understandings of mental health, creating a grounded and accessible pathway for both teachers and students.

‘I came into this course looking for some new techniques, cues, and things to consider as I go about my work. I loved learning about Polyvagal theory and how that correlates with yoga philosophy -  and importantly how I can meaningfully apply that when I’m holding space for people moving forward.”

— Gina, Support Worker & Yoga Teacher
