Refund Policy


Single class passes are valid for one month and 10-class passes are valid for 6-months, from the time of purchase and must be used within this period. All passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.


Upon Receiving Acceptance into a Program with The Mindful Yoga School

Payment Plans or Upfront Payments are made available to enrolling participants to support the student’s financial situation. Upon receiving an acceptance email into a Program, the applicant will have already paid at least a deposit, if not full upfront payment for the program. All deposit payments are non-refundable.


Where a student enters a payment plan for a teacher training program, the applicant is required to then pay at least another $500 prior to the first in-person/live training day (this enables costs for books, resources, venue etc. to be covered).

Where a student enters a payment plan for any other programs e.g. retreats, the full program cost must be completed one-month prior to program commencement.

The applicant and The Mindful Yoga School are to mutually agree (by way of email) on a regular payment plan that completes full program payment.

Before Program Commences

All deposit payments for Programs are non-refundable i.e. $500 for Yoga Teacher Training program or Retreat, $400 for Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher Training Program.

Any additional payments made beyond the deposit payment, can be refunded if your enrolment is cancelled at least six weeks prior to Program commencement.

After Program Commences

The program will not give any refunds or credits after the training starts. This is because Programs are normally full with a wait list and we have already booked and paid for many resources relating to your place in the Program.

The Program reserves the right to cancel any training before it begins, and in the case of the latter, any payments applicants have made may be transferred to a future training date or payments may be refunded in full.

Notice of Cancellation

The Program requires that any notice of cancellation or withdrawal by a student must be provided by email, from the applicant to The Mindful Yoga School.

Admission Denials

An applicant who is denied admission into the program is entitled to a full refund of all money paid by said applicant.

Special Cases

In case a student needs to withdraw from the program due to illness, accident, death in the family, or other extreme circumstances that make it impractical for the student to complete the course, The Mindful Yoga School will allow for transfer to a future intake date within a 12-month timeframe.


No refunds will be given if the program removes a student from the program for misconduct e.g. harassment, bullying, or any other behaviour that is inappropriate or disruptive to the welfare of the program or to fellow students. Misconduct is violation of the Code of Conduct.
